[Elecraft] Toroid wire

"On the 160M module, toroid L1 .I managed to burn off
just a little too much enamel insulator from 26ga.
wire.........Bare copper into the 1st 1/2 turn on the
toroid. Am I o.k.?   Or should I rewind?"

Hi Larry,

If you're in a bind with the wire (not enough to
finish the job), you can use some clear nail polish
(or acrylic paint) to "rebuild" the insulation.
