Most mag lights are only 3 diopter (1.75 power).  
 
The  5 diopter (2.25X)  lights help when you need more  magnification.

 You can google search for 5 diopter mag light and get more  sources.   
The focal length of the 3 diopter is 13" while the 5 diopter is  8". 
 I use a 3 diopter mag light  with 3 power reading glasses due to  my poor 
vision. 
You need to be sure the light you purchase has a protective cover over 
the blub or a stray wire clipping can break it all too easily.
