[Elecraft] Chaining K3 memories

To precise: it conscerns K3 CW memories A1-A4 and B1-B4
text repeated:

CW memories may be chained.
There seems to be max 2 memories if not auto-repeat.

Problem: space between memories is for letters (3 dots),
not words (5 dots or more).
Is there a "switch" to change? I would like to turn it.
