    You may have the same problem I had...wound the toroids too tight 
and didn't have the windings spread out far enough on the low-pass 
output filters...it made a huge difference on my rig.  Try spreading the 
windings out or just re-wind them so that the windings are spaced out 
more...it's easy to get them too tight and too bunched up together...the 
windings need to be spread  W A Y  out...just a design thing you 
understand...
