This K1 is in exc condx and has never been used outside or and only in a 
  smoke-free enviroment.
   
  The internal battery option has a BatterySpace 9.6v 2000ma Nimh battery in place of
  the AA's. I have the orig AA holder.  The original speaker was kept for better audio.
