[Elecraft] AF1 white noise

Hi,

I assembled the AF1 External filter and it works.Only one thing is annoying: There is constant white noise on my headphones( tried different headphones) even when the af gain is set counter clockwise- this noise may cover very weak signals.Any ideas?
