[Elecraft] Elecraft K3 shipping end August ??

I am one of those people, and I'm not complaining. Furthermore, I paid
my 50% at a worse exchange rate than is now the case, never mind the
loss of interest.

Nobody forced me to do so. I did it in order to get my K3 ahead of
those who didn't stump up. No promises of a delivery date were made,
or expected. I think through this reflector we are well informed about
what is going on, and like others have said, I'd rather they get it
right first time than have to do a lot of awkward mods because of
things that weren't fixed because they shipped too quickly.
