[Elecraft] K3 vs Yaesu FT-450AT

I also got a VX-7R (in black) and think it is nasty.
Forget ever using it without the (thick) book, and 
short wave performance is VERY poor, as you would expect
for a little radio.
Loads of 'features' like a band scope (worthless).

Its fine for the vhf ham bands as a HT I suppose.
Seems rugged and water proof, and has a good built in battery.

I used to have an icom Q7 little thing that was better,
you did not always need the book, just when you wanted it to
figure out the sub audible tones.

Anyone interested in buying it, send me an E mail, I can take the money
and get a KX1....
