While I have no experiene with usb to serial for the
k2/k3 ... I went around Robbin Hood's barn trying to find
something that would let me talk to an old Garmin GPS unit
that was serial.

After failed attempts with RS stuff, Best Buy stuff and Comp USA stuff, I 
picked up a Keyspan USA-19 single port adapter and a nifty mini port replicator 
that creates 2 usb ports, 1 parallel and 1 serial.

They both work with the Garmin.


I wish I had a financial interest...I don't....but you can see them at

Hopefully they will work with the K3
