[Elecraft] K2 PLL L31 opencircuit

I am currently building (in fact completed) K2 #4848 for a friend and 
found the tuning very strange. Investigation took me to L31, the 10uH 
shielded inductor, in the PLL which is open circuit. It was OK when I 
did the Part 2 tests but I did note before I put it in that it seemed 
intermittent on my ohmeter.

I have asked support for a replacement, but have others had a problem 
with this component?
