Congrats on getting the KSB2 built and working.
For heavens sake leave the 2.4 width alone, going to 2.6 will leave you 
sorry.
I worked a VE6 yesterday from Calgary and assisted him in picking up a 
couple of VE3's with my low power K2 @ 15 watts and received his thanks, 
pretty good on 20 meters, I am well pleased. Of course I have a Force 
12  C3 antenna @ 75 ft. on my tower,which helps.
