[Elecraft] Wide SSB caps or not?

I found that the wider filter gave me more flexibility for adjusting the
FL1/OPT1 BFO frequency for the transmit audio I liked best. The wider filter
does allow more HF response, which shows up as high frequency noise on
receive, so I set FL2 to use the OPT1 filter too but with the BFO adjusted
to shift the bandpass for more low and less high frequency response. That
gives me a great deal of control over the sound of other station's signals
that I may find are a bit too "bright" (lows cut off). 

Since the FL1 settings are those used automatically for xmit, choosing
different setups for the other filters does not change the transmit audio.

So guys, I just ordered the SSB board and the 100 watt PA.  I also ordered
the wide SSB caps.  Should I put them in or leave them out?
 
Can you hear the difference between 2.4 KHz and 2.6 KHz on receive?  On
transmit?
 
SSB is only about 5% of my operating time.  I'll dabble in 'phone here and
there.  Everything from contests to DX to rag chewing.
