Roger,

Check the schematic and you will see why (you should not install only a part
of a mod):
If you are not installing ALL the changes for Rev D, then do NOT install
R40.
OTOH, if you have ordered all the parts to build your KPA100 as Rev D, then
yes, install it as instructed in the Rev D manual - R12 will not be
installed.
