 Yes I agree that the KPA 1500 was the hit of the show. My informal survey
 showed higher traffic at the Elecraft Booth than at Alpha (I was there
 Friday afternoon and Saturday morning). Both seemed to have high traffic.
 
 My wife tried to surprise me with a KX1 but could not get near the booth,
 even though she is blond and cute; I had to muscle in later to complete
 the purchase.
