Awww, you got it all wrong Ken.

XYL's are useful for finding things. Too much testosterone prevents being
able to locate anything smaller than the remote control for the TV. 

Guys are useful for pushing and shoving stuff the XYL can't handle and for
hogging the TV remote.

to take the carpet brush off the vacuum cleaner, fit one leg of a 
pair of panty hose over the end of the tube, and vacuum the area vigorously.

The tiniest of tiny parts are said to fetch up against the mesh from whence
they can be retrieved without effort.
