[Elecraft] OT - Sony ICF-6800W repair or RIP

John - Sony may still offer decently priced repair/swap.   I don't know if 
there is any Sony service center near you but there is a large facility in 
New Jersey.

I have an SW-100 that bit the dust last year and for a flat $75 I got it 
"repaired"...it looks like they gave me a replacment unit in the process.
