[Elecraft] QRP Power Level?

Wow...I sure wasn't trying to imply that! 8-)

My post said "where PARTICIPANTS define QRP as 5W CW and 10W SSB."

Specifically there was a website of a group who were planning SS activity 
that stated that they were going to be running 5W on CW and 10W PEP on SSB 
during SS.    You didn't get a chance to see that since I sent it to the 
guys off-list.

There are those who look at 5W DC and immediately translate it to 10W PEP 
for SSB even if the "official" rules state 5W maximum power.

There seem to be many "standards" set by various organizations.   The only 
one that matters is the sponsor of the contest.

One safe rule of thumb... If you never exceed 5W regardless of mode ALL 
contest sponsors will acknowledge you as a QRP entry in their contests.
