[Elecraft] ATU K2 Question

I have completed my basic QRP K2.  I have the KAT100 tuner.  My  
question is this...

Can I use the KAT100 tuner in QRP mode without adding the 100 Watt  
Amplifier?  Or should I build the 100 Watt Module and then build the  
KAT100 Tuner?
