[Elecraft] KX1 antenna - a game of inches

I have been experimenting with different random wire antenna lengths for my
3-band KX1.  My counterpoise consists of three 1/4-wavelength wires, one cut for
each band.  With a 40-ft radiator the internal ATU gave me SWR values of 1.7:1
on 40 and 30 meters and 1.1:1 on 20 meters.  Adding 2 feet to the radiator (42
feet total) brought all three bands to 1.0:1.  It's amazing the difference that
just a few inches of wire can make!
