[Elecraft] KPA100 hi-current problem after build

Just finishing up a KPA 100 kit for my k2 and am running into a problem
I'm up to the "SWR Bridge Null Adjustment" on page 44.  I set up the power to 5 watts (connected to a dummy load), and I get a "Hi Current" message followed by a reduced output reading. I checked the dummy load on an antenna analyzer and it's good.  I feel something might be grounding out.  I'm going to take the board off the heat sink but wanted to get this out there for any other ideas while I look.  I did notice the fan comes on when I get that message.
