Craig,

The horizontal loop is working great. I tried getting into the 20 meter net
but I experienced massive QRN just after it started. Turned out, my Grandson
turned on the big screen TV in the family room. I heard that's the downside
of having a horizontal loop on the roof and they're not kidding.

This morning I worked ES3RM in Estonia on 20 meter PSK31 using 8 watts(!).
20+ years ago, I never worked Europe with my Yaesu FT101E at 100 watts (just
about the same sunspot cycle). With the K2 I've had just 3 QSO's so far:
Cuba, Missouri, and Estonia all under 10 watts. The K2 is a great radio.

Congrats!!   The antenna and tuner must be working!   And, you got your Cuba
contact first thing!

Got the internal tuner complete here and tested it last nite on the CW
sprint contest.  Only 25 contacts, but my random wire works at least
somewhat on 20, 40 and 80.

Listened to most of the Elecraft 20M net, but it seemed to end before I
could check in.  Will try again on 40 later & listen for you.
