[Elecraft] RE: Big hole QRP experience

Mike, About 15yrs ago I BPed the Tonto plateau w/friend and drug a QRP
rig along made several contacts using a low dipole. Mainly because
there wasn't much to hang it on! But never tried it from the river
bottom. Albeit at the time I would have traded the 2lbs of radio gear
for juicy-greasy cheese burger or eatable item of sort and a shower!
But that's the usual day-dream after 3-4 days in the woods. It's
probably worth the effort just for curiosity sake? Good luck,
