[Elecraft] How Do I Recover From A Hard Reset?

Jonathan,

The best way I can describe what needs to be done after a hard reset is to
tell him to follow all the Alignment and Test items in the manual that are
associated with a menu setting (including CAL PLL and CAL FIL). He should
do the same with the instructions from the KPA100 manual, and any of the
manuals for his installed options.

Note that he does not have to do all the adjustments, only the ones
associated with setting a menu parameter. But he could do all adjustments
if he wanted.

There are two things on my website (http://w3fpr.qrp.radio) that he may find
helpful. First is an alignment and test document extracted from the K2
manual, and second is the article on K2 Dial Calibration.

He probably will write down the setting for future recovery - something akin
to doing a backup of important computer files.
