Maplin appear to be the ONLY company who doesn't stock 60/40 leaded 
solder - but these days they stock less and less of anything and I no 
longer use them.

I have just checked all my suppliers and leaded is stocked by them 
all, OK in some cases with a small price hike. I see the new CPC 
catalogue has quite a range. For the small user home user Grandata 
(http://www.grandata.co.uk) has a good range.

How long this will continue we don't know, but it is still readily 
available in the UK at least.
