It does look in appearance similar, but that is where it ends.  Now on to
the amps, etc.  I was thinking about a separation kit.  I know a couple of
Hams have done so.  Any ideas?  I would like to consider for a mobile rig.

What K3? We certainly have not announced anything like that. We're busy 
making and shipping K1s, K2s and KX1s. :-)

I believe Wayne was comparing the K2 to this rig. It looks like it would 
be a step backward for us to head its direction.
