[Elecraft] A Good Day With The KX1

I had a great long weekend with my KX-1.

I took it up to Elk Lake, MI, where my family rents a set of cabins
every summer. I pulled a wire up into a tree, laid out three radials,
and went to town. I worked about 20 stations in the North America QSO
Party and had a couple of nice ragchews over the 3-1/2 days I was up
there.

My operating position couldn't have been my nicer. I was on the
screened-in porch of one of the cabins, looking out over the lake,
with a nice, cool breeze flowing as I was operating. You just can't
beat summers in northern Michigan. :)

73!
