[Elecraft] KDSP2 Performance

I am thinking of adding the KDSP2 to my trusty K2.  I have listened to the .wav files on the Elecraft site and the reduction in ambient noise is impressive.  I know that the DSP is designed to handle random/thermal noise but can anyone comment on its actual ability to handle pulse/burst noise such as that generated by power lines etc.
