[Elecraft] Soldering stations

When I was going through certification for soldering at Grumman back in the '60's, the mantra was, if the solder won't flow, do not raise the heat, use a bigger iron...It makes sense, solder melts a 361 degrees regardless of the size of the job..

I remember trying to solder strain gauges on landing gear struts outdoors in zero degree wind chills...Didn't work until we got the bird indoors...<G>
