Well, I sort of like some level of "QRM" on the list. Without some
off-topic chat, the list becomes sterile.
I've subscribed to a list that is just like you described. I get maybe
5 messages per week, every one of them on-topic. There is so little
activity that the list is pretty much worthless. You have to have some
traffic to have enough excitement and activity to make a list worth
while.
I delete over 1/2 the posts to this list based on the subject line. If
the subject doesn't interest me be it Elecraft related or not, I just
nuke it so as to not waste time on it.
My beef isn't the QRM level, but the number of posts that are good and
worth reading. Man, there is too much good stuff on this list. Reading
all the good stuff - now THAT takes some time. Hitting shift-click and
then delete, well that is very quick and easy.
And yes, the QRM level can get rather high at times, but the OT threads
usually run their coarse and die of their own accord.

Please gentelmans, let's keep e-mail qrm a bit down and use this
reflector for tehnical help and Elecraft related stuff and not like
public forum about anything connected to Ham radio, so PLEASE think
three times before posting a message wich will then be sent to thousends
of us.
