My experience of 47 years of use of Multicore solders is that they give superior wetability, and flow, and clean up to ordinary wire solder such as Radio Shack solder. It is easier to use Multicore flux to get a better cleaned joint and hence easier to solder with less heat exposure to the components. Stuart K5KVH
