[Elecraft] Carrying handle for the K2

I am interested in installing a carrying handle for the K2.  I have the 
required Icom handle.  Which side of the radio is most convenient to install 
this handle and do you install the feet that comes in the handle kit on the 
other side?  When installing the feet, do you thread the side panel to 
accept the Icom screws or do you replace those screws with longer ones and 
add nuts on the backside?
