One way to check it is to switch to USB mode and tune in WWV (10 MHz here)
and then tune 1 kc lower (9999.00). You should hear a hetrodyne. Then engage
the auto notch and the hetrodyne should disappear. It does on mine.

Mine too. I probably don't understand very well the autonotch feature, but
if someone could help us with a test or a sound file where we could hear a
demo....
