[Elecraft] RE:split indicator for K2

They must be for some kind of analog connection, what I'm not sure. Looking at the schematic it looks like some type of input connector. Maybe this is where you connect the wireless controller so you can hook it to a computer network for remote operation. Ya think? Oh, wait, 8-pins, thats gotta be the built-in rotator controller.

Maybe I've finally found a use for the round hole with 8 pins located just to the left of the headphone jack. This would be a splendid home for a nice bright red LED split indicator. Maybe I could use 2 of the pins to power the light. This is probably what the designer had in mind. I wonder what the other 6 pins are for? 73 - Rick - K7MW
