A couple of comments from this side of the pond.

The contest occurs on the same weekend as the RSGB Commonwealth
contest (BERU) which runs from 1000z Saturday 11th to 1000z on the
Sunday. I know this has no relevance for those who are not in the
Commonwealth as they cannot have QSOs anyway, but it will certainly
reduce participation in G land and VE/VK/ZL. BERU is a contest I
usually dabble in as it allows me to work a few of the rarer
countries. So for yet another year I will not be taking part in EQP.

Sending S/P/C is fine for USA/Canada, elsewhere sending the Country
is total redundancy as it can nearly always be deduced from the
callsign. This is the silly anomaly which has grown into the CQ 160
contest these days, when the exchange is totally meaningless. Please
make it S/P with nothing needed to be sent if you are not USA/Canada.

The suggested frequencies are in line with the USA bandplans. Note
that in region 1 7030 is the international QRP frequency and above
7040 is used by SSB. Only a few countries have access above 7100.
