Another good question with a slightly tricky answer. Basically yes,
however......
The N1MM Logger will accept a string of quite a few characters. I don't
use TRLOG, so not sure how the Elecraft S/N will fit.
NA gets a bit tricky. The last column only accepts five characters max
(ARCI has up to five digit member numbers).
If the program sees a non-numeric character in that field, it identifies
it as power rather than mbr number.
Example: "10010" is seen as a mbr number and is assigned five points.
"500mW" has non-numeric characters and is assigned two points
Suggest entering a number signifying which Elecraft rig is being
copied: 1 = K2, 2 = K1, 3 = KX1 (order that rigs were offered for sale).
So, "13000" would be a K2 with S/N 3000 and would be assigned five
points by the logger
"5W" would be assigned two points - unless it is DX, in which case
it would receive 4 points.
This scheme would work for both N1MM and NA (and probably TRLOG) but
will need further investigation.
Would it help if we wrote into the rules how this part of the exchange
should be sent?
Clear as mud?
