Yes! Consider many of us bought or K2s in another century.  There have been
many upgrades/changes in the K2 since then.    The K2 has never become
obsolete because there hasn't been a K3, K4, etc.  So is there any reason
for Elecraft to have a K3 if the K2 is always updated?

I consider my K2 #402 a K3 ,a K4, a K5 ,etc.
