Hi
The new back panel is a silkscreened and drilled heatsink panel that has the
transverter connector holes. When installing the 60 meter/transverter option
you can install this panel to replace your old panel.
You can drill your old heatsink panel if you want but this replacement makes
it easier and it looks better. The original holes on the upper rear panel
that are marked for the transverter are not used because of the problem of
connecting the board to the upper connectors. The old transverter holes can
be used for any other purpose. Like a battery charger, solar panel, PSK I/O
connector or whatever. Just install a connector of your choice and make the
internal connections. A think the new heatsink panel is $19
