I have attached a note I received on the QRP-L list. It is from Seab from
Steve.

Steve is alive and stiff and sore and soaked. He will get better. Hope
to hear his ATS-3 on the air one day.

This from Steve. man, looking at the weather map, I'm sure glad it's not
me out there! -s-
==================

I made it to Gatlinburg, TN in the Smokies. About 200 miles so far, 26
days. Its been cold and wet for too long. Sprained my Achiles tendon about
30 miles back. Been limping since. Its worse first thing in the morning,
but after I limber it up some I can hike okay, but been doing very short
miles. Hopefully a day or two in town and some hot soaking will help. Then
I'm taking an easier route out of the Smokies, other than the AT along the
high ridges. I found some valley trails to connect up to get back to the
AT at the north end of the park. Should be a more interesting walk too.

Haven't had much chance to use the radio lately. Been too cold and wet for
the most part.

Talk to you next time I find internet access.

Steve
