[Elecraft] DMM test leads

Here's a seemingly naive question.

I have a DMM that uses those fancy test leads with booted banana plugs.

For low-voltage DC situations, such as Ohm meter readings, would it do any 
harm to plug leads with ordinary unbooted banana plugs into the test lead 
terminals of the DMM?
