My feeling is that due to the low mass of the toroids, you will not need to do
this, especially since it's a thump and not a buzz.   But...

I wouldn't.  Too permanent.

Difficult to use since there will be very little contact area between the wires
and the board.  Also might be more permanent than you want.

ONLY if you can get the kind that doesn't emit acetic acid when it cures!  The 
regular stuff can be quite corrosive.

Again, I wouldn't do this.
