I'd think so, but don't rule out 20 and 30 meters too. 

The main thing is to pick a band with stable propagation at the time you're 
operating, because a slow CW QSO is going to take a little while.

A 4 band board can do 80 meters - but then you can only do 3 bands.

A 2 band board switches between two sets of coils and capacitors - so you can 
choose any two bands.

The 4 band design uses the same coils on more than one band by switching in 
different padder capacitors. But there's a limit on the frequency range. 

The coils needed for 80 meters are such high inductance that they can't share 
with 40 meters, and 40 meter coils are too low inductancer to share . All 
other K1 coils can share with the next-higher band. But the separation between 80 
and 40 is too great (percentage separation, not MHz)
