[Elecraft] More Pedestrian KX1's Needed

Your email has inspired me! I will try to get out this weekend and see if I
can make any contacts. I do have an old CB antenna and will try to make it
work. I use my KX1 mostly when I travel. Guess I need to change my thinking.

We must have over 1000 KX1's out there now and
i am not seeing an increase in the number of Pedestrian Mobiles on the air.
Mike  VE3WMB is on frequently... but we need you too...
The Fox logs are not showing any increase either...
How about it KX1 guys.... Start walking.....
Get an old CB whip, stick it in your pocket, hook it to your KX1, add a drag

wire and
get thee on the aire...peripatetically speaking, of course.
i use a 10 foot whip on 20 meters and it works great !
i worked the Fox last night and a few other guys too...
There is a new HFPackCW yahoogroup now (HFPackCW at Yahoogroups.com)
for CW Pedestrian/Portable stations.
