[Elecraft] WA3WSJ: K2 Digital Voice recorder?

Radio Shack sells/sold a board for $9.95  which held up to 10 seconds..one 
message.
I installed one in a small handheld box which i use for PTT / interface for 
a computer headset /boom mike.  The"ALTEC' branded boom headset with 
electret mic was closed out at Compusa for $7.95...and the combo sounds great.
