Such a promise is not necessary, David. Hi. Welcome to the list. I hope you
have an enjoyable building experience. I KNOW you will have many enjoyable
operating experiences. The K2 is a great rig, and I certainly don't see
anything on the horizon I would trade mine for. I'm STILL trying to dump the
TS-950S that the K2 replaced, but no takers yet.
But if you DO have a problem or a question, you won't find a nicer or more
knowledgeable bunch of experts to help than right here.

Hello All
I am new to the list
Have just started building my K2 Eric. Can't promise to screw it up but no
doubt I will call for help sometime.
One question. Just assembled the control board & carried out the resistance
checks. I did not find any shorts but some of the resistance values did not
match the figures given. I realise it will be tested later but the
instructions made no mention of what to check if the resistances were not as
specified.
