FYI Ron, there is a group called "HF Pack" that is very strong in Pedestrian mobile operation. both CW and SSB. Their various calling frequencies are listed at....http://www.hfpack.com/ Most of the members seem to be on SSB with their 817's (ugh) However, they do have an interesting web site established (IMHO).
