I think NorthernTool also sells a solar panel charge controller. I
bought one with the same solar panels that Don got but I haven't used it
yet. It is in the box waiting for the sun to come back out someday, HI
HI! When I bought the folding flexible solar panels I was thinking they
might go well with backpacking for portable QRP operation. I also
bought a pair of smaller panels that folded like a book. They came with
a variety of adapters, presumably for charging a cellphone or something,
maybe a K2. It also had a compartment for AA batteries (I think).
Again, it is still in the original shipping box with the other items I
bought about 6 months ago, but there are some plans to use them someday.
