[Elecraft] CW filter question

Jean-Francois,
If I recall, that statement in the SSB manual does not say you must (or
should) set the wide CW filter to OP1, it only says that one CAN do that -
so if it is not desirable for you (it is not for me either), then leave your
CW filter widths as they are as they are. Adding the SSB option does not
change CW in the K2 but it does increase the filter choices by adding the
OP1 fixed bandwidth filter.
If you want more detail on K2 alignment than is in the manual, in particular
the Dial Calibration and setting the filters, you may want to look at my
website http://w3fpr.qrpradio.com or the mirrors at www.qsl.net/w3fpr or
http://home.earthlink.net/~w3fpr - Spectrogram is adequate, but if you have
access to a full blown spectrum analyzer, you can use that instead.
