[Elecraft] K1 BFO alignment

I'm building a K1 to go with my K2 and KX1! The receiver is working and
aligned, but I have a question about BFO alignment. I usually use a side
tone pitch of 700 Hz, but I don't seem to be able to adjust the BFO trimmer
c20 to get that high a note centred in the filter pass band. Am I aiming for
the impossible, or should I have another go? I could always reduce the side
tone pitch on my other rigs and get used to a lower one, I understand that's
the way many experienced ops go.
