[Elecraft] Any K1's or KX1's in West Michigan?

Hi Guys: I live in New York City, but I grew up in Kalamazoo (KN8LOT and
K8LOT received in 1958). I built as many Heathkits as my sidewalk-shoveling
and lawn-mowing jobs would afford me. To save postage, my Dad would drive
me to Benton Harbor to purchase my Heathkits direct from the factory.
I have built 2 K2s (fully loaded), a K1 and a KX1, also a 6 meter
transverter. All are great fun to build. The K2 is a superior rig, and the
KX1 is a superior miniature QRP rig. It surpasses the K1 in performance, in
my opinion. I'd recommend the KX1 over the K1 as a first kit. I'd also
recommend the internal antenna tuner, the 30M module and the matching
mini-paddle.

I'm in Kalamazoo/Portage with a K2 which you are welcome to see. I know
another K2 owner, but I don't know a local K1 or KX1. My wife and I
come up to the Herman Miller company store every so often, I could
bring the rig with me.
I am sure I am going to buy and build a KX1 after my code improves.
What exactly will I do with it? I don't know, but I don't care! Heck, I
might buy a K1 too just to have the complete set! I'm so impressed with
the quality (and fun) of Elecraft. Was there anything in particular
that is holding you back?
