YES! See my review on eham. In the year since I wrote it, it's only 
gotten better, and logging has been added. N4PY's software 
originally written for TenTec also supports K2, and is quite well 
respected. I have not used it. 

If you want to work contests, Writelog works quite well with the K2 
serial interface.
